We are looking for a blacksmith for our metal plant in Sliedrecht. In this role, you will be responsible for the manufacturer, machining and customisation of metal parts. You will work with various forging techniques, such as heating, shaping and finishing metals. You will also ensure that the products meet the set requirements and quality standards.

What will you be doing?

  • Applying various forging techniques such as heating, shaping and finishing metal
  • Identifying any problems during the machining process and making appropriate adjustments
  • Setting up and operating forging machines and tools for machining metal parts
  • Ensuring a safe workplace by adhering to all safety procedures

Who are you?

  • You have a good command of the Dutch and/or English language
  • You have an eye for detail and work accurately when machining and finishing metal parts
  • You can work well independently, but also collaborate effectively in a team when needed
  • Living in the Sliedrecht region or surroundings is a plus
